COVID-19 Update

We Are Open!

For your safety and ours, we are determined to follow the Government's latest guidance to halt the spread of COVID-19.

Our aim is is to greatly reduce the risk of the virus passing between our customers and our tradespeople. Below are the special measures we have adopted to achieve that.

Please note that we are continuing to book jobs for customers who are self-isolating.

Our Social Distancing & General Hygiene Measures

  • In accordance with guidelines provided by Public Health England, our tradespeople will maintain a distance of 2 metres (i.e. "social distancing") from people in the properties they’re booked to visit

  • On the day of the visit and before any tradesperson arrives, customers will receive a call or text to establish whether anybody in the property is self-isolating, has any symptoms or has been diagnosed with COVID-19

  • If someone in the property is self-isolating, has symptoms or has been diagnosed with COVID-19 the tradesperson will be able to keep to the original appointment provided that it is possible to gain access to the guttering without going into or through the property. Alternatively, the tradesperson will happily offer to re-arrange the appointment for a future date

  • If the assigned tradesperson is self-isolating, develops symptoms, or has been diagnosed with COVID-19 by the time of the appointment and is therefore unable to keep the appointment, and no colleague is available to take on the job, the customer will be contacted as early as possible and offered an alternative appointment

  • The tradesperson will stand back when a customer opens the door to them

  • After initially showing their face from a distance of 2 metres, the tradesperson will wear a face mask while carrying out the work or while going through a property to gain access to the gutters

  • Before and after each appointment the tradesperson will clean their hands using soap and water or alcohol-based hand sanitiser

  • They will also not shake hands with anyone they meet at a property

  • To help maintain a 2 metres distance from others we would be grateful if our tradespeople could either be left alone at the point of work, or observed from a minimum distance of 5 metres in the outdoor space (this distance allows for any moving around by the tradesperson in the course of the work)
